How to play Domino Hunt

Someone laid a complete set of dominoes in a rectangle and then rubbed out the lines between them. Your job is to find them again.

A set from 0|0 to 6|6 has 28 dominoes, and each one appears exactly once — so 3|5 can only be in one place. Start with dominoes that can only fit in one spot, and squares that have only one neighbour left to pair with.

Turn on Show dots for real domino pips.

How to play Domino Hunt

Split the grid into dominoes so that every domino of the set appears exactly once.

The rules

  1. The grid holds a full set of dominoes (for example 0|0 to 6|6).
  2. Every square belongs to exactly one domino, made of two neighbouring squares (across or down).
  3. Each domino of the set appears exactly once — 2|5 and 5|2 are the same domino.

Playing here

  1. Choose a domino set (0–3 up to 0–9) and a difficulty, then press New Puzzle.
  2. Drag from one number to its neighbour to place a domino, or tap near the line between them. Tap again to remove it.
  3. Use Rule out (or right-click) to cross off joins that can’t be dominoes. The checklist under the grid shows which dominoes you’ve placed — repeats turn red.
  4. Hint explains the next domino: one that fits in only one place, or a number with only one partner left.
