Ripple Rooms is played on a grid split into rooms. A room of 4 squares holds 1, 2, 3 and 4; a room of 1 square holds a 1.
Each number sends a ripple along its row and column: another copy of the same number must be further away than the number itself. Two 1s may not touch, two 2s need two squares between them, two 5s need five.
Big numbers have big ripples, so place them early — and look for rooms where a number fits in only one square.
Fill each room with 1 to its size so that any two equal numbers in the same row or column have at least that many squares between them.
